Welcome to the 3Girlsblogging Community Guidelines. We created 3GB as a place where moms and tweens/teens can connect in a family setting and share stories, give and get advice, vent, laugh, and feel connected to a broader supportive family community.
These Guidelines are intended to help make 3GB a safe and enjoyable place for moms and their tweens/teens to connect with their peers and each other. 3GB does not tolerate any form of cyber bullying, personal attacks, or disrespectful behavior. Slurs, stereotyping, and hate speech are not tolerated.
Our community is filled with members who want to connect with their peers or gain a different perspective. You have the opportunity to join a discussion or just sit and listen to what others have to say. It’s all up to you! Please be careful not to share personal information, such as your home address, school or university, social security, and/or credit card information. Also, please do not share any personal information about other members, friends/classmates, and/or family members.
As in any conversation worth having, there will be wide array of opinions. We are all entitled to our opinions, and at 3GB we welcome diversity. You may hear opinions that you do not like, but at NO point should anyone personally attack another member or use disrespectful words. We are a PG crowd, so we must keep our language clean.
Members are allowed to upload pictures to be shared with 3GB friends, discussion groups, or the broader 3GB community. No nudity or pictures that depict acts of violence or abortions are allowed. The 3GB Team will remove any inappropriate pictures and take appropriate action against any members who violate the posting rules. The 3GB Team will contact law enforcement if a criminal offense is committed.
As the “owner” of 3GB, the 3GB Team will do our best to enforce the Community Guidelines, assist members with any questions, and provide a safe and fun environment for moms and teens. We ask that our members flag any post that they consider offensive. Our team will look into the matter and take appropriate action if needed. For privacy reasons, we cannot disclose what actions we take in a particular circumstance. Rest assured, we take all reports seriously. While we listen to our members, we have the final say on whether content or conduct is permissible under these guidelines.
We reserve the right to remove postings, warn members, and suspend or cancel accounts to enforce these guidelines and maintain the integrity of the site.
Discussion Groups are run by members, not by 3GB. All groups must abide not only by the 3GB Guidelines, but also by the guidelines of the Group Owner. Group Owners are responsible for making their own guidelines for the group and enforcing them as necessary. Group Owners are able to remove posts, comments, and members from their groups. If a Group Owner needs help with an issue that she cannot deal with on her own, she should contact the 3GB Team for assistance.
We may revise these guidelines at any time and without notice.
