Cheesecake Factory- Short Hills, NJ
The Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite family-style restaurants. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu, even though there is such a wide selection. Not only are the meals delicious and filling, but the prices are reasonable. And let’s not forget, the desserts are simply superb. You won’t be disappointed at all! Some of my favorite appetizers are Crispy Crab Rangoons, Fried Calamari, and Crab Cakes. There are many great entrees to choose from, ranging from delectable salads to tasty pastas to hearty steaks. However, I strongly recommend Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp from the chef ‘s specialties list. It is a Thai-inspired meal with a rich, zesty peanut sauce that will leave your mouth watering. Just be sure to save room for dessert! The selection of cheesecakes is endless, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, I dare you to try the Oreo Cheesecake. You will definitely end your meal satisfied. Check out a location near you. Satisfaction guaranteed! Expect to spend $20-25 per person for a 3-course luncheon meal or $25-35 for a 3-course dinner. You can also expect the service at the Cheesecake Factory to always be great. The friendly waiting staff will always tell you what’s good on the menu, and your meal is always served quickly.

The food is great!!! And calories dont bother me cause im already plump. Btw, thanks for taking me Zaharah! That was my first time there!
You’re welcome. I agree. The food is delicious. Cut the plump talk. We can all lose a few pounds. See you soon.
Seriously, the calorie counts are shocking. The chicken lunch specials are all over 1200 calories. Yikes!
Yikes indeed. Luckily we’re not regulars!
We’ve always heard good things about the Cheesecake Factory, and last year when we were at the gymnastics regionals in San Diego, the only restaurant still open near the venue was a Cheesecake Factory, so off we went. California law requires large chains to post calories of menu items. We were simply shocked at the calorie counts. Yes, the portions are huge and the food is good — but the calorie counts are scary!!! So share an entree or ask for a take-out box and immediately put half your entree away for a leftover treat. Your health will thank you.
Most of their entrees are over 1,000 calories — even things like chicken or salad that you might think are “healthy.” Some are even closer to 2,000 or even OVER 2,000! A lot of the desserts are around 800-900 calories, but some are well over 1,000, generally 1,200-1,500. With calorie counts like this, I’m sure sodium and fat are also through the roof.
So indulge on occasion, but be careful if you eat here regularly!
Good point that you bring up about the caloric intake. Zaharah originally included a suggestion to share an entree or take home half, but when she read it to my hubby and I, we advised her take that sentence out. She will be tapping her little feet when she reads your comment.
I know what you mean about the high calories. In my original text, I suggested sharing or taking home 1/2 of a meal, but my know-it-all parents told me to take it out. Next time, I’ll follow my instincts.
